The Dream Catcher.

Dreams are Biblical.  Dreams shouldn’t be dismissed as non-relevant night experiences.  If there is a prophet among you, God speaks to him or her through visions and dreams in dark time-frames (Numbers 12:6).  Daniel was a dream catcher who confidently possessed the noteworthy gift of ‘dreamatic’ interpretations–a most desirable gift which God offers to us.  Though the Word of the Lord found on the pages of Genesis through Revelation is a bronzed-hammer that breaks boulders in pieces (Jeremiah 23:29), dreams are nothing to be taken lightly.

Our Kinsmen Redeemer (Ruth 1-2).

Staying preoccupied with the Master’s business causes us to remain under cascading floods where heavenly blessings come out; in the place where our Kinsmen Redeemer can bear us on eagles’ wings and keep us safe in the shadow of the Almighty.  Nothing happens by chance.  Ruth found herself in a pivotol place and life changing crossroads, all by simply being busy with the master’s work and joyfully receiving gifts from the one who would elevate her to legendary fame in Israel (Ruth 4:11); a message we can all glean from.

1–2–3 John!  Go along with sound teachings from passages such as “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health.”  And, “You do faithfully whatever you do for the brethren and for strangers.”  Then to, “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.” 3rd John is filled with powerful pithy passages portraying proverbial wisdom and sound instruction for dealing with divisive Diotrophes by exposing them for who they are!

The Tribulation Period.

The most horrendous holocaust our world has ever seen will transpire after the rapture of the church–then the Lawless One shall be revealed.  The blessed hope within us is our steadfast clencher as we eagerly wait for Jesus, who will snatch us away in the clouds before detrimental and destructive disaster is dealt upon a Christ rejecting sinful world–an event known as the Rapture of the Church–even so come Lord Jesus!

The AntiChrist.

The historical content of the eleventh chapter of Daniel is both irregularly-intense and nebulously obscure–trying to study this section of Scripture without a guide or commentary can leave one in the dark.  Luckily, the background historicity and time-lines are clearly illuminated in this scholarly Bible study–which any student of the Bible would desire to add to his or her advanced arsenal of learning.

Daniel's 70 Weeks.

Daniel prophesies of the triumphal advent of the Messiah.  Four hundred and eighty-three years from Artaxerxes' command for Nehemiah to rebuild the wall on March 14th, 445 B.C.E. to the very day Jesus was installed as Jerusalem's King on April 6th, 32. C.E. on the Babylonian Calendar.  173,880 days to the date! An interesting prophecy indeed!

Antiochus Epiphanes IV.

The foreshadowing illustration of the Antichrist setting up the abomination which causes desolation spoken of by Jesus as He referred back to the Old Testament book of Daniel entails, encapsulates, and exegetes what Daniel is to the Old Testament as what Revelation is to the New Testament.  The eschatological ramifications are exponential–while touching on the most simplistic practical life applications for us all.

The Little Horn.

Daniel’s bull’s-eye accuracy, with regards to coming world kingdoms and the prophetic pertinence to the uprising of Babylonian, Grecian, Persian, and Roman empires is incredibly remarkable; His precise accuracy is a mystery challenged by skeptical minds throughout the eras.  What a wonder that one could have such factual futuristic visions that hit the nail on the head with the proverbial-revelatory hammer!

Daniel in the Lion's Den.

Daniel’s majestic-unyielding resolve solidified his classical notoriety of having an excellent spirit which excelled above his contemporaries–and it’s the same Spirit Jesus graciously granted to us!  Without compromise, Daniel displays dramatic expressions of timeless truths–obeying God rather than men (Acts 5:29) and the fear of man being a snare (Proverbs 29:5).

Belshazzar's Feast.

In flagrant mockery of the things of God, Belshazzar has his ultimate sinful desires fulfilled as he indulges in a pagan revelry–Belshazzar threw the ultimate party.  As the smoke filled the air and the wine flowed, it's too bad he couldn't read the writing on the wall.  And yet, we as the children of God, know the times and seasons.  Those who are ‘weighed in the balances and found lacking’ can no longer discern truth from error.  But you have an anointing from the Holy One and you know all things (1st John 2:20).  Belshazzar was having a party on the very night the Medo-Persian empire came to destroy him–what a lack of foresight!

Beastly-Animalistic Pride.

The humble in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.  Pride brings a man low.  Nebuchadnezzar is no exception.  Nebuchadnezzar discovered that the Most High rules over men and gives the kingdom to whomever He wishes.  Nebuchadnezzar's sin drove him to mental instability, but when we allow the Holy Spirit to indwell us, and lead us and direct us, we have complete control over our faculties–and have a spirit of power and of love and a sound mind.

The Fiery Furnace.

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego refuse to follow the world's system.  As a result they are subsequently thrown into a fiery furnace.  Miraculously, they are unharmed and see a fourth person amidst them–Jesus the Son of God.  When we encounter our fiery trials of life, that's when we too clearly see the fourth person, Jesus the Son of God, as we never have before!

Babylonian Brainwashing: We Aren't Indoctrinated by this World's System.

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.  The world's system seeks to fashion you according to its mediocrity, but we shatter the mold!
